2008, on the chairmanship of Mr. Narhang Rai and coordination of Mr. Prem
Roj Rai, Vice-Treasurer of KRAHK, the "Sakela Ubhauli 2008" was
organized with "Sakela Shili" at Tai Mo Shan Hill. Elderly, Mrs.
Bishnu Kumari Rai was seated as Chief Guest on the ceremony. She prayed
with Sumnima and Paruhang to progress, prosperity and good luck for Kirat
Rai all over the world. Mr. Shashi Madan Rai (Secretary) was announced the
ceremony and Mr. Kisan Rai (Vice-Chairman) had welcomed the participant.
Special Guest, Mr. Hem Limbu (Hong Kong Nepalese Federation) and Mr. Bhupendra
Chemjong (Adibashi Janjati Maha Sangh) had given wishes of success to all
Kirat on their speech. More than 30 representatives of various organizations
was presented on the program. At the beginning, KRAHK Shili Group had presented
the Shili and then student of IKT College (Trained by Mani Kumar Rai, Member
of KRAHK) had presented the Shili . At the end, all participant had observed
the Shili with great festivity. The ceremony was closed around 12.00 midnight.
